Pazhnews | In a meeting with Iraqi Minister of Agriculture Abbas Jibara al -Maliki, Yaqub Ali Nazari said: Khorasan Razavi province is one of the large provinces of Islamic Iran and has an area of about 4,000 square kilometers with an area of 5 million people.

He continued: Khorasan Razavi province has cultural, economic, and transportation advantages, but the particular privilege of our province is the existence of Imam Reza (AS).

“We are proud to host domestic and international pilgrims,” Nazari said. Various pilgrims travel from Iraq to Mashhad, and we have more than 30 million pilgrims annually in Mashhad.

He explained: In our province, there are various facilities and capacities such as mining, agriculture, industry, and energy. The province is the golden point of the east-to-west and north-to-south in terms of transit, export, and access to the CIS countries.

Governor of Khorasan Razavi said: One of our capacities is the mine including iron ore mine, copper mine and so on. Other main capacities of our province are the potential for agriculture and livestock.

He said: Agriculture and livestock are one of the ancient and historical professions of the province. For this reason, we have good capacity transport and conversion industries in the province related to agricultural products.

Nazari said: “We have a serious desire to establish a good relationship between Khorasan Razavi province because of the presence of Imam Reza (AS) and Iraq, which is proud of the Holy Shrines.”

“We hope to provide a platform for exporting the product between our province and Iraq with joint agreements, given your trip to the province.
